Social activist Diya Sana has filed a defamation complaint at the Museum Police Station against Sajna Noor and a YouTube media channel following serious drug-related allegations. The legal action was triggered by a recent interview where Sajna accused Diya of using, carrying, and distributing MDMA. Diya strongly refuted these claims, describing them as entirely baseless and aimed at tarnishing her reputation.
According to Diya, the allegations were aired during a two-hour interview on the Marunadan Malayali channel, which she claims has a history of personal animosity towards her. She noted that the channel used misleading thumbnails to amplify the false claims, causing significant distress to her and her family. Diya emphasized her long-standing stance against drug abuse, pointing out her active participation in anti-drug campaigns, public protests, and her recent support during the Toofaan controversy.
Challenging her accusers to produce concrete evidence, Diya stated that she is preparing to take further legal action against those spreading false narratives online. She also promised to release a detailed response soon through a major media channel, addressing the ongoing controversies involving Sajna Noor and sound designer Resul Pookutty to bring the complete truth to the public.
