Grieving Family of Electrocuted Boy Mithun Faces Painful School Reopening in Kollam

As schools reopen for a new academic year, the family of Mithun, a young boy from Vilanthara in Thevalakkara, Kollam, who tragically lost his life to electrocution, is struggling to cope with his painful absence. The family expressed their deep sorrow, recalling how they used to prepare for the school season together in previous years.

Mithun’s mother tearfully shared that every year, Mithun, his younger brother, and she would sit together to wrap their school books. This year, his younger brother had to wrap his books alone, a sight that broke her heart. She also recalled the painful experience of buying school uniforms from the same shop they used to visit with Mithun, deeply feeling the void left by his tragic demise.

Mithun was known for his mature nature, often advising his father to spend money wisely, and his passion for sports like football and cricket. His friends and the local community recently came together to help prepare a house for the family, fulfilling one of Mithun’s biggest dreams. Amidst their grief, Mithun’s parents hope that safety measures are strictly followed so that no other family has to endure such a devastating loss.
