As schools reopen for a new academic year, the family of Mithun, a young boy from Vilanthara in Thevalakkara, Kollam, who tragically lost his life to electrocution, is struggling to cope with his painful absence. The family expressed their deep sorrow, recalling how they used to prepare for the school season together in previous years.

Mithun’s mother tearfully shared that every year, Mithun, his younger brother, and she would sit together to wrap their school books. This year, his younger brother had to wrap his books alone, a sight that broke her heart. She also recalled the painful experience of buying school uniforms from the same shop they used to visit with Mithun, deeply feeling the void left by his tragic demise.
