Bigg Boss Malayalam Season 5 winner and filmmaker Akhil Marar has openly shared details about his monthly expenses, lifestyle choices, and personal habits in a recent viral video featuring his wife, Rajalekshmi. The director-turned-reality star revealed that living in Kochi costs him over Rs 1.5 lakh per month, supported by unexpected help from friends and well-wishers during difficult financial times.

Breaking down his monthly budget, Akhil explained that he pays Rs 32,000 as car EMI and Rs 22,000 for his flat rent. Additionally, he rents another flat upstairs for Rs 10,000 specifically for his story-writing work. He admitted to maintaining a posh lifestyle, which includes purchasing expensive seafood like tiger prawns and neymeen (seer fish), alongside contributions to local chit funds (chitty) and expenses for his children.
