A tragic incident in Alappuzha has come to light, where a woman reportedly refused to keep her baby after her lover, who is from another state, abandoned her. The case has been taken up by the Child Welfare Committee and police are investigating.

According to reports, the woman’s lover, an interstate migrant, allegedly forced her to terminate the pregnancy. The matter came to the attention of authorities, and legal proceedings under the Juvenile Justice Act are being considered. The police have filed a case and are gathering evidence.
