Actress Ansiba Hassan has accused the Association of Malayalam Movie Artists (AMMA) of failing to address her complaint against actor Tini Tom. According to sources, Ansiba’s complaint, which includes allegations of harassment and a leaked voice clip, was discussed during an executive committee meeting. However, AMMA President Shweta Menon reportedly opposed the discussion, questioning whether the meeting was intended to put Tini Tom in jail.
A faction within AMMA demanded that the complaint be taken up in the executive committee, but Menon overruled them. The controversy has deepened with Ansiba also filing complaints with the Chief Minister and the Director General of Police. She has alleged that her earlier complaint to AMMA was erased and that she faced harassment from police officials at the Tripunithura women’s station.
Meanwhile, a voice clip allegedly featuring actress Neena Kurup has surfaced, in which she claims to have heard Tini Tom making derogatory remarks about Ansiba. Kurup stated that she personally called Ansiba to inform her about the incident. The internal strife within AMMA has led to calls for intervention by senior actors Mohanlal and Mammootty, with some demanding the dissolution of the current committee.
