Several people were injured when a ride collapsed at an amusement park in Thiruvananthapuram on Thursday. The accident occurred at Happy Land in Vembayam, where a ride reportedly broke apart, causing injuries to multiple visitors. The injured have been rushed to nearby hospitals.

Among the injured are five members of a family from Tamil Nadu. Preliminary reports indicate that a welding failure caused the ride to break. About 30 people were on the ride at the time of the incident. Authorities are investigating the matter.
