Aarya recently opened up about a disturbing incident at her shop that she turned into an awareness video. During a conversation with her assistant Viji, she shared how a seemingly sophisticated phone call quickly turned into an obscene encounter.

One evening around 7 PM, while the shop was closing, a call came in on their public business number. Viji answered, and the caller spoke in excellent English, claiming to be a fan of Aarya who wanted to discuss a work project. When Viji explained that she could not share personal numbers, the caller agreed to leave a message.

Viji put the call on speaker so Aarya could hear directly. What followed was shocking — the caller, who had sounded like a polished gentleman, suddenly started making sexually explicit comments. Aarya immediately began recording the call for evidence.

The team sarcastically engaged with the caller, trying to extract information about his identity. When a male friend took over the call, the harasser quickly disconnected. Aarya later filed a police complaint, though the case did not progress.

Aarya emphasized that such calls can be traumatizing, especially for women and children who may not know how to respond. After posting the video, several others reached out sharing similar experiences, including a doctor couple who received a call asking for the wife inappropriately.

Viji, whom Aarya describes as extremely bold and not a people-pleaser, has been a pillar of support. Their friendship goes back years — Aarya first met Viji when she asked her to join as a stylist, and they have been inseparable since.

The video serves as both a candid revelation and a reminder to stay alert, record evidence when possible, and not be afraid to respond boldly to harassment.
