According to Samudrika Shastra and Lakshana Shastra, certain moles and marks on a woman’s body indicate she is highly auspicious and equivalent to Goddess Mahalakshmi. A woman with these signs brings immense prosperity and elevation to the household she enters, whether by birth or marriage.
The first sign is a mole on the upper lip, especially on the left, right, or center. A mole on the center of the upper lip is considered particularly fortunate, bringing Rajayoga and great wealth to the family. The second sign is having the second toe longer than the big toe, which indicates a woman destined to be the Mahalakshmi of her home. The third sign is a mole on the left palm between the thumb and index finger, which is a rare and powerful mole that ensures continuous good fortune.
Other signs include a gap between the two front teeth, which signifies a generous heart and brings prosperity to the household; a mole on the back of the ear fold, indicating sharp intellect and good fortune; a mole on the right eyebrow, which ensures that the woman or her children will achieve great heights; and finally, the ability to make any plant thrive, known as “Kairashi,” which is a sign of divine blessing. If a woman has even one of these seven signs, she is considered a Mahalakshmi and should never be neglected.
