CPM Palakkad district secretary E N Suresh Babu has issued a threatening speech against the Town North police CI, warning that if police behave disrespectfully towards Left workers, they will be stomped on the chest. The threat came during a protest against the Enforcement Directorate’s raid at the residence of opposition leader Pinarayi Vijayan.

Suresh Babu stated that the attack on the ED was just a sample, and if police engage in hooliganism, the Left front has the strength to subdue them. He added that more fireworks are yet to come, implying further aggressive actions.
