Popular Malayalam actor Dileep recently shared candid insights into his family life, discussing his relationship with his wife Kavya Madhavan and his daughters, Meenakshi and Mahalakshmi. Speaking about their distinct personalities, Dileep compared his daughters, noting how Meenakshi shares his quiet, listening nature, while younger daughter Mahalakshmi takes after Kavya’s lively and talkative personality, easily making everyone around her comfortable.
Reflecting on Kavya’s role as a mother, Dileep mentioned that while she is highly responsible, she can be short-tempered. He revealed that he advises her to guide children through communication rather than anger, proud of the fact that he has never had to hit Meenakshi, who has now successfully become a doctor. He also expressed a slight regret about missing Meenakshi’s toddler years due to his hectic filming schedules in the past, a phase he was able to fully experience with Mahalakshmi during the COVID-19 lockdown when they spent 21 days quarantined together in a room.
The actor also touched upon his popular restaurant venture, “Dhe Puttu,” sharing his personal favorite combinations like puttu with ripe mango, or puttu with milk and sugar. During the light-hearted conversation, Dileep playfully tackled several traditional Malayalam food riddles and modestly dismissed claims of being a trained dancer, attributing his on-screen performances purely to his passion for cinema.
