The recent ED raid on Kerala Chief Minister Pinarayi Vijayan is being seen as part of an internal CPM revolt, with the late Kodiyeeri Balakrishnan’s son Binees Kodiyeeri allegedly leaking secrets to lawyer Shone George. Sources claim that Binees, angered by the party’s treatment of his father, is now orchestrating a campaign to bring five major cases against Vijayan.

These cases include the gold smuggling scandal involving Vijayan’s former secretary M. Sivasankar, the Life Mission corruption case, the Sabarimala gold theft, the Wayanad fund scam, and alleged corruption in election advertising. The ED raid is believed to be just the beginning, with Binees and Shone George reportedly coordinating to expose Vijayan’s involvement.
