The story recounts how an elderly Brahmin suffering from a severe stomach ailment, which no treatment could cure, approached the renowned sage Vilwamangalam Swamiyar for help. The sage declared it a karmic disease that must be endured. Dejected, the Brahmin wandered and reached the home of Kurur Amma, a devout woman who had no formal education but immense faith in Guruvayurappan. She served the Lord as her own child. When the Brahmin asked for water, she insisted he eat, assuring him that chanting the name ‘Govinda’ would prevent any discomfort. Trusting her words, he ate and was completely cured. The video emphasizes that it was Kurur Amma’s firm belief that brought about the miracle, highlighting how the Lord always fulfills the words of his devotees.
