As the new academic year approaches, the Kerala Education Department has announced key guidelines under the new Education Minister to ensure a smooth reopening for schools. In a major directive, schools have been instructed to ensure that all textbooks are fully distributed and ready before students return to their classrooms.

To welcome the students back, a special school admission song (Praveshanagaanam) penned by the renowned lyricist Rafeeq Ahamed has been sent to schools. This initiative aims to create a warm and celebratory atmosphere for students as they step back into their academic routines.

Significant curriculum and content changes are being introduced this year, particularly for Class 8 and Class 9 students. Class 9 is expected to be highly challenging with advanced topics, including complex numerical problems in Physics.
