Kerala’s announcement of free bus travel for women from June 15 has drawn mixed reactions from men at the Thampanoor KSRTC stand in Thiruvananthapuram. Some welcomed the move as a positive step, while others said it should be implemented with proper conditions and planning.

Several passengers said the decision mainly helps women who depend on buses and need financial relief. Others pointed out that men already use private vehicles more often, so the impact on bus revenue may be limited.
