Nalanchira Wife Murder Case: Husband Slits Wife’s Throat Over Suspicion in Thiruvananthapuram

In a shocking incident in Thiruvananthapuram, a woman named Haseena was brutally murdered by her husband, Suresh, in their rented house in Nalanchira. The accused slit his wife’s throat early in the morning following a heated domestic dispute driven by extreme suspicion. Suresh fled the scene in a car after washing the weapon in the bathroom, and the police have launched an intensive search to apprehend him.

The couple, who had been married for around 20 years after a love marriage, had recently moved to the rented house in Nalanchira with their four children. According to local sources and relatives, the family had a history of domestic conflicts, largely fueled by Suresh’s pathological jealousy. Although the couple had visited a police station the previous evening to resolve their issues, another dispute erupted the next morning, culminating in the tragic murder witnessed by their children.

Following the incident, the four children have been placed under police protection. Relatives have expressed reluctance to take custody of the children or even accept Haseena’s body for traditional burial, citing long-standing community alienation since Suresh had not converted to Islam. Haseena’s body has been moved to the Thiruvananthapuram Medical College Hospital mortuary for post-mortem procedures as the investigation continues.
