Actress Neena Kurup has confirmed that fellow actor Tini Tom made derogatory remarks about Ansiba’s DNA and called her a ‘Jihadi’ during a meeting of the Malayalam film actors’ association AMMA. In a video statement, Kurup said she personally heard Tom say ‘Ansiba’s DNA is not correct’ multiple times and also witnessed him using the term ‘Jihadi’ in another conversation. She added that she immediately called Ansiba to inform her about the comments.
Kurup also alleged that Tini Tom and another actor, Lakshmipriya, have a history of aggressive behavior toward others, including AMMA general secretary Kukku Parameswaran. She stated that she has filed a complaint against Lakshmipriya and expressed her inability to continue with the current committee. The controversy comes amid ongoing factionalism within AMMA, with senior actors divided over leadership and sponsorship issues. The association’s executive committee is expected to meet soon to address the growing crisis.
