Kerala Devaswom Minister K. Muralidharan has stated that strict action will be taken once the Home Department’s report on the missing gold and diamonds from the Sree Padmanabhaswamy Temple in Thiruvananthapuram is received. He emphasized that no one involved in stealing the deity’s wealth will be spared, and legal proceedings will be initiated against the culprits.

The minister revealed that he has spoken to the administrative committee of the temple, which operates under court supervision and includes representatives from the central and state governments. He has requested the internal report regarding the missing valuables. The minister also expressed concern over the growing tendency to loot temple properties, calling it unacceptable regardless of where it occurs.
