Nisha, a poor village girl from a humble background, arrived at Aryan Tech, a multinational corporation in the city, for a job interview. Wearing a faded cotton salwar kameez and torn, mended slippers, she was ridiculed by the security guard, other candidates, and even the receptionist. The HR head, Vikram Mehra, rejected her outright based on her appearance, without asking a single question about her qualifications.
However, as Nisha was about to leave, senior director Rajeev Saxena noticed an old photograph sticking out of her file. The photo showed Nisha’s father, Raghav Sharma, the man who had saved Rajeev’s life 18 years ago in a road accident. Raghav had rushed the bleeding Rajeev to a government hospital and donated his own blood, disappearing afterward without accepting any reward.
Rajeev, moved by the discovery, insisted on testing Nisha’s skills fairly. She not only answered complex accounting and taxation questions but also single-handedly recovered the company’s crashed server data, which had been locked due to a script run accidentally from Vikram’s laptop. Impressed, Rajeev appointed her as Assistant Director of Corporate Finance and IT, publicly acknowledging her true worth.
