A Malayalam astrologer claims he accurately predicted that the late UAE President Sheikh Zayed bin Sultan Al Nahyan would survive a kidney transplant surgery 24 years ago. The astrologer, who was consulted by the President’s personal assistant, examined the President’s palm and confidently stated that he would not die within six months. Following the successful surgery, the astrologer was gifted a 100-gram gold necklace personally placed around his neck by the Abu Dhabi ruler.

The astrologer recounted his visit to the Abu Dhabi palace, describing its opulence with 2,800 kilograms of gold used in its decoration. He was initially approached by the President’s aide, who had earlier witnessed the astrologer’s accurate prediction of another person’s death. Despite warnings from other doctors that the 86-year-old President might not survive the surgery, the astrologer’s palm reading gave the family confidence to proceed with the operation in London. The President lived for another six years after the surgery.

The astrologer declined an offer to become the palace’s resident astrologer with a monthly salary of 100,000 dirhams, citing his commitment to his own practice and the cultural heritage of Indian astrology. He continues to practice in Kerala, where he has analyzed over 25,000 horoscopes.
