Popular Malayalam actor Salim Kumar has been admitted to Amrita Hospital in Ernakulam in critical condition. He is currently on ventilator support as his health deteriorated due to liver-related complications.

According to hospital reports, the actor had previously undergone a liver transplant surgery at the same hospital. Although he returned to his active film career after the surgery, he had been facing health issues for some time. His condition worsened recently, leading to his admission and subsequent transfer to the ventilator. Doctors have stated that they are providing all possible medical support.
