Actress Ansiba has lodged a formal complaint with Kerala Chief Minister Pinarayi Vijayan, alleging that she was humiliated at a police station. The complaint, also addressed to the Director General of Police and the Home Secretary, seeks action against a woman sub-inspector at the Tripunithura police station.

The incident dates back to January 29 this year. According to Ansiba, she was summoned to the station based on a complaint filed by actress Lakshmipriya and her husband. There, she was treated like a criminal and insulted in front of other police personnel. Ansiba has accused SI Reshma of misconduct and alleged a conspiracy involving Lakshmipriya, her husband, and the SI. She also claimed that AMMA president Swetha Menon facilitated the complaint against her.

Ansiba has demanded a fair investigation, strict departmental action against the SI, and compensation of Rs 1 crore for the mental harassment and defamation she suffered.
