Prominent businessman and gold merchant Boby Chemmanur, popularly known as Boche, has shared details about the remarkably simple wedding of his only daughter, Anna. Despite her father’s immense wealth as a prominent gold merchant, the wedding was conducted with minimal luxury, where Anna chose to wear just a single necklace without any heavy gold ornaments.

The wedding of Anna and Sam took place on July 12, 2021, at the Yakkara St. Mary’s Church during the COVID-19 pandemic. Due to pandemic restrictions and Anna’s personal preference against grand celebrations, only a very limited number of guests attended the ceremony. Boche revealed that they had initially thought of organizing a mass wedding for the underprivileged to mark the occasion, but it could not be executed due to the lockdown rules at the time.

Speaking about his daughter’s lifestyle, Boby Chemmanur stated that Anna has never demanded gold, expensive cars, or luxury items from him. He provides her with a monthly allowance of one lakh rupees for her living expenses and encourages her to work and earn her own living. He emphasized his belief in self-reliance rather than spoiling children with excessive wealth.
