The Central Government has revoked a previous state government order that allowed the use of government vehicles older than 15 years. The decision was announced by the Ministry of Road Transport and Highways, effectively banning such vehicles from being operated.

The earlier order, issued by the Kerala Transport Department under the previous government, had granted exemptions for older government vehicles. The Central Government’s cancellation aims to enforce stricter vehicle age limits and promote road safety and environmental standards.
