Investigation Reaches ADGP MR Ajith Kumar’s Doorstep Over KSU Attack Cover-Up

The investigation into the brutal attack on KSU leaders has now reached the doorstep of a top police official — ADGP MR Ajith Kumar. The officer, known as a close associate of Chief Minister Pinarayi Vijayan with alleged RSS links, is accused of destroying evidence and fabricating reports to shield the policemen involved in the assault.

The case involves KSU workers being violently attacked, with police officers allegedly complicit. Despite court intervention, the guilty officers faced no action initially. Now, suspension orders have been issued against the involved policemen, pending investigation. However, the focus has shifted to MR Ajith Kumar, who served as ADGP (Law and Order) at the time.

According to reports, the original investigation report that found the attack illegal was brought to Ajith Kumar’s office, where he tore it up. A fake replacement report was then created to protect the accused gunmen. Even the Alappuzha SP had written that this was an unpardonable offense, yet the evidence was suppressed.

MR Ajith Kumar has been described as a bridge between the CPI(M) and RSS, and was also allegedly involved in the Thrissur Pooram violence and the Kowdiar palace land grab case. Despite his reported RSS connections, he is now trying to portray himself as a former Congressman and KSU leader after the change in government.

The question remains whether the UDF government, under Chief Minister VD Satheesan and Home Minister Ramesh Chennithala, will allow the SIT to name Ajith Kumar in the charge sheet. All eyes are now on the government’s next move, as Kerala waits to see if the powerful officer will finally face consequences.
