Mohanlal has reportedly intervened in the ongoing controversy surrounding actress Ansiba Hassan’s allegations against the Association of Malayalam Movie Artists (AMMA). According to sources, the superstar has issued a stern warning to the current leadership, demanding a fair and transparent inquiry into the matter.

Ansiba Hassan had publicly accused certain members of AMMA of character assassination and severe mental harassment. While the current committee, led by Shweta Menon, sought an explanation from her, Ansiba demanded an independent panel to investigate her complaints. In response, Mohanlal, a former AMMA president, has insisted on the formation of a special independent committee comprising Ramesh Pisharody, Dan Srinivasan, and Mala Parvathy to ensure a transparent probe.

Sources indicate that Mohanlal has made it clear that the organization cannot afford to have a situation where even a woman feels unsafe. He has reportedly warned that if his directives are not implemented, he will completely distance himself from the association. Discussions scheduled for the first week of June are expected to bring a resolution to the issue.
