A mother in Kerala is overwhelmed with joy after her son, Rahim, returned home following 20 years in a Saudi prison. Rahim had traveled to Saudi Arabia for work but spent only 18 days outside before being imprisoned. His mother, speaking in an emotional interview, expressed gratitude to Allah for his safe return.

Rahim was just 24 years old when he first went to the Gulf country. His mother recalled that he had gone there for a job but soon ended up in prison. She said she never expected him to be involved in any crime, describing him as an innocent child. The family had raised nearly 48 crore rupees in funds for his release, but his mother insisted that she only wanted her son back, not the money.

Now that Rahim is home, his mother hopes he will find a good job and get married. She said she will not send him abroad again, praying instead for a livelihood in their own land. The reunion has brought her immense peace, and she thanked everyone who supported them during the long ordeal.
