Ramesh Pisharody to Open MLA Office in Palakkad, Forgo Films and Stage Shows

Ramesh Pisharody, the newly elected MLA from Palakkad, has announced that he will soon open his MLA office in the constituency. He has decided to forgo films and stage programs during this period to dedicate his full attention to public service.

“I will be a full-time representative working for Palakkad,” Pisharody said. He noted that having two ministers from the district is a major advantage, and pledged special focus on education and healthcare sectors. He also said the Palakkad Government Medical College will be fully equipped.

Pisharody expressed confidence in the support of Minister K.A. Tulsi and committed to completing the district hospital construction work soon. During his election campaign, the most common complaint he received was about paddy procurement, and he said he will push for budget allocations to address the issue.

His plans include completing auditoriums in all local bodies at affordable rates for weddings and celebrations, promoting young entrepreneurs with startup ideas, and working to secure funding through both government and private channels.

On infrastructure, Pisharody said he will emphasize bypass roads to ease traffic congestion. With the Kochi-Bengaluru industrial corridor becoming a reality, he envisions Palakkad developing on a large scale. He described Palakkad as a constituency comprising both villages and town areas and plans urban planning with a “city hub” approach.

“Palakkad will be transformed into a city that appeals to all sections of society,” he said, adding that the benefits of urban development will be shared with villages and vice versa.
