Actress Rini George was heckled as she arrived at the UDF government’s swearing-in ceremony at Thiruvananthapuram Central Stadium. In a Facebook post, she described the incident, calling those who booed her “kannukadi ulla kulamkuthikal” and saying she ignored them with the contempt they deserved.

Rini wrote that seeing V. D. Satheesan become Chief Minister was a dream come true for her, and she felt fortunate to witness the historic moment. She added that Congress workers have always treated her with love and she does not believe the hecklers were Congress supporters.

The incident occurred after Rini had earlier revealed a bad experience with a young leader, which led to more allegations against Rahul Mankoottathil. Following that, Rini faced online abuse, which she reported to the Chief Minister and the State Police Chief. Cases were registered under the IT Act, BNS, and Kerala Police Act against four individuals, including YouTubers Shajan Skaria and Rahul Eashwar.

Rini also shared a photo of herself with Telangana Chief Minister Revanth Reddy, who was present at the ceremony, to counter claims that Congress workers had driven her away.
