Kerala Minister T Siddique has won widespread praise after stopping his official vehicle to assist a youth who was injured in a motorcycle accident. Instead of passing by, the minister immediately ordered his vehicle to stop, stepped out to help the injured person, and personally ensured they were sent to the hospital for medical care.
The incident, which was captured on video and has since gone viral on social media, shows Minister Siddique helping the injured youth stand up, offering him drinking water, and arranging transport to the hospital. This gesture comes amidst a visible change in the state’s administrative culture under the new UDF government led by Chief Minister VD Satheesan, where ministerial security convoys have been significantly reduced to prevent public inconvenience and allow ministers to be more responsive to citizens in need.
