Fifteen-year-old cricket sensation Vaibhav Suryavanshi is witnessing a massive surge in his brand value following his spectacular performance in the Indian Premier League (IPL). According to reports, the young prodigy’s endorsement fees have skyrocketed, with top brands lining up to sign him as their brand ambassador.
Before the upcoming IPL season, Suryavanshi charged approximately ₹1 crore per brand endorsement, which has now increased to ₹1.5 to ₹2 crore, as reported by NDTV. Currently associated with major brands like Complan and Red Bull, his commercial deals are managed by his parents with support from his franchise, Rajasthan Royals. Suryavanshi, who holds a ₹1.10 crore annual contract with Rajasthan Royals, had an outstanding season, scoring 776 runs to claim the Orange Cap.
Former IPL Commissioner Lalit Modi highly praised the youngster in an interview with Wisden, predicting that Suryavanshi could become the first player to score a double century in T20 cricket. Advising the young talent to keep his feet on the ground, Modi stated, “Do not let money get to your head; you will become the biggest superstar on this planet, even bigger than Hollywood or Bollywood actors.” Modi also noted that young players prioritizing franchise leagues is a positive trend for the sport.
