KSRTC Driver Yadu Who Had Dispute With Former Mayor Arya Rajendran Gets Job in Legislative Assembly

Yadu, the former temporary KSRTC driver who lost his livelihood following a highly publicized dispute with former Thiruvananthapuram Mayor Arya Rajendran, has been appointed as a temporary driver in the Kerala Legislative Assembly. This development comes as a major relief to Yadu, who had been struggling to support his family by driving Uber and doing delivery jobs after losing his KSRTC job.

The controversy began in Palayam, Thiruvananthapuram, when a heated argument broke out between Yadu and Mayor Arya Rajendran over allegedly not giving side to her vehicle. Following the incident, police cases were registered, and Yadu lost his temporary position at KSRTC. To support his family, including his school-going son, Yadu resorted to driving Uber cabs, often operating in the same municipal wards represented by the political figures involved in the dispute.

Yadu had previously petitioned the transport minister and the government for reinstatement. Although he recently cleared a driving test at the Poonthura depot after being called through the employment exchange, he has now received this temporary appointment at the Legislative Assembly while his other paperwork is progressing. Yadu expressed his deep relief and gratitude, noting that this job offers much-needed stability for his family.
