MVD Submits Report Proposing Approval for 18 Vehicle Modifications in Kerala
The Kerala Motor Vehicles Department (MVD) has taken a significant step towards legalizing vehicle modifications in the state by submitting a report that proposes allowing 18 specific types of alterations. Prepared by the Transport Commissioner, the report has been submitted to the state government for final approval, bringing long-awaited hope to vehicle enthusiasts and modification agencies across Kerala.
According to the proposal, the permitted modifications will include minor aesthetic and functional changes such as stickers and specific types of lighting. However, major alterations like changing the vehicle’s color will require special permission and the payment of a designated fee.
