A report submitted by the Kerala Police DGP to the state government has revealed that valuable items, including gold and diamonds, are missing from the Sree Padmanabhaswamy Temple in Thiruvananthapuram. The discovery has raised serious concerns about the security of the temple’s treasures.
The missing items include gold bars, gold coins, a gold lamp, and a diamond ornament known as Vairanamam. The DGP’s report, prepared after an investigation, has been submitted to the Home Secretary and the Intelligence ADGP. The temple, renowned for its immense wealth, is now under scrutiny over alleged security lapses.
